Fire guts TCN substation in Maryland, Lagos​


Fire reportedly gutted the power substation of a Transmission Company of Nigeria(TCN), situated in Maryland, Lagos. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service team published a statement, reporting that the fire was successfully put out by the Ilupeju Fire Crew of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.

The Director of the FRS, Margaret Adeseye, stated that no life was lost in the fire accident, and that sent a rush of relief to the worried public. Investigations are ongoing to unravel the cause of the fire that broke out around 10:06 pm.
