Gbemi Anjola Passes On After battle with cancer
A fast rising Nigerian actress, Gbemi Anjola has passed on after a long battle with the dealy sickness, cancer.
The actress was 33 year old and she had battled with ovarian cancer for a long time. She died on friday, March 24, 2023.
We learnt she was diagnosed with cancer in 2021. She had then traveled to Dubai for 6 months and this was for chemotherapy treatment.
he returned to Nigeria after she has gone through her treatment. We learnt that she returned cancer-free.
Just recently, about a month ago she began to complain about memory loss and also headaches and she was then taken to the hospital for check-up.
She was told to get drugs when they went to the hospital.
By Friday evening, around 7pm, she then complained again of headache and they rushed her to the hospital
Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the hospital. Many of her colleagues have taken to social media to mourn her loss.
