GEREGU POWER REPORTS N30.2 BILLION PROFIT, UP BY 145% IN 6 MONTHS

Geregu Power Plc reported a pre-tax profit of N30.2 billion for the first half of 2024, a 145% increase from the N12.3 billion recorded in the same period of 2023. This figure also represents a 24% increase over the entire pre-tax profit of N24.4 billion reported for the whole of 2023.

According to the company’s unaudited interim statement for the half year 2024:

- Revenue: N80.7 billion, a 133% year-on-year growth from N34.7 billion in H1 2023.
- Pre-tax Profit: N30.2 billion, a 145% increase year-on-year from N12.3 billion in H1 2023.
