Governor Sanwo-Olu inaugurates 13 projects in 8 Local governments

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated 13 projects in 8 Local Government Areas in Lagos State. This happened on Wednesday, May 24, 2023

He shared the news on his Twitter handle just a few hours ago.
He revealed he had the honour to commission 13 projects in Lagos State.

He said this was a way of delivering the promise which they have made to people about bringing progress and prosperity to the people.

Some of these projects include school, roads, medical facilities etc. He revealed these projects were directed at building a greater Lagos.

He mentioned that these 13 projects were inaugurated in 8 LGAs and they include Amuwo-Odofin, Badagry, Agege, Ojo, Alimosho, Ifako Ijaiye, Ikeja and Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area.

Part of these projects include an Ambulance Bay, School of Basic Medical Science Block, Special Services Centre House Officers’ Quarters at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, 120 Bed MCC (SDG Building), a newly rehabilitated Mba-Cardoso Street, Ajegunle, Akesan Obadore Road, a newly installed Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 104-5+LX Machine at Lagos State Printing Corporation, Ikeja, shoreline protection at Marina and Isaju-Ajido in Badagry, Ilashe and Ijegun-Egba in Amuwo-Odofin, Government Girls Senior College in Agege,Ojo and Ijaiye Ojokoro Senior High School, in Ifako Ijaiye, a newly built Primary Healthcare Centre in Ijedodo, Alimosho Junior Grammar School, Ijaiye Housing Estate Junior Secondary School in Alimosho and others.

The governor was represented in the inauguration across these locations because they were held at the same time.

Sanwo-Olu revealed these projects will ensure the delivery of modern medical facilities and this would in turn strengthen the capacity of the healthcare system in Lagos State for the good of the people.

He said without a doubt that these facilities will improve Nigeria's Human Capital Development Index. This will also help to achieve some targets in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
