Harry Kane has broken two more German Bundesliga records in his first season, after moving from Spurs in the summer of 2023.

Kane scored a hat-trick in Bayern Munich's 8-1 hammering of Mainz 05 at the Allianz Arena.

Harry Kane, who is yet to score a “Bundesliga hat-trick”, found the back of the net in the 13th, 45+7, and 70th minute of the Matchday 25 encounter.

The Englishman broke two records, including one which has stood for about 3 decades.

The former Norwich City man has become the first player to score at least 2 goals in 8 German Bundesliga matches during his debut season in the top-flight division, based on data provided by Opta.

The previous best for a maiden season in the German top tier was seven matches, by Friedhelm Konietzka in 1963-64 and then by Toni Polster in 1993-94.

Kane is also the first player to score four regular hat-tricks in his first year in the German Bundesliga, making it two Bundesliga records broken in one game.

Harry Kane has been utterly sublime since moving to Munich, and his hat-trick on Saturday, March 9, 2024, took his goals tally this season to 36 goals across all competitions in 34 matches.

The 30-year-old is on track to make this the most prolific season in his career, with his previous best being 41 goals in 48 matches during the 2017-18 campaign.

Anyway, Kane is yet to score a “Bundesliga hat-trick” as aforementioned, as a hat-trick in the Bundesliga is 3 goals in the same half and without interruption.

The England international will continue to strive for that, however, his brilliance has definitely been witnessed this season for the Bavarians.

One of the best strikers in the world today, Harry Kane moved to Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur on August 12, 2023, for a fee of €95 million.

Harry Kane has made 531 club career appearances thus far, scoring 332 goals and providing 81 assists in all competitions.

The striker has played for several clubs in his career, including; Leicester City, Norwich City, and Millwall FC.

However, he is yet to win a major career trophy and that was the top reason for him exiting Spurs to join Bayern Munich.

Internationally, Harry Kane has scored 62 goals and provided 19 assists in 89 appearances.

Moreover, Bayern Munich sit 2nd on the German Bundesliga table, with 57 points from 25 appearances.

They are 7 points adrift of Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen, who sit at the summit of the table, with 64 points from 24 matches.

Leverkusen are yet to play their Matchday 25 encounter, which sees them welcoming Wolfsburg to the Bay Arena.

A victory for Bayer Leverkusen will see them move 10 points clear at the top of the German Bundesliga table.
