Suspected Fulani herdsmen kill two traditional rulers in Ekiti State, and dump their corpses in the bush.
According to news reports, three traditional rulers, Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti in Oye LGA, Alara of Ara in Ikole LGA, and Elesun of Esun Ekiti in Ajoni LGA of Ekiti State, were attacked by herdsmen yesterday on their way returning from a meeting.
The second ruler, Alara of Ara, made a narrow escape when the herdsmen waylaid them and tried to take them away forcefully. It was reported that the herdsmen stopped them on their way heading home, and fired bullets at them. They took their personal belongings and dumped their bodies in a nearby bush.
