Creative block is a situation whereby an individual finds it difficult to get inspired to do what he must or what he should. This kind of situation is usually common with artists be they, writers, musicians, or designers, for some reason you just discover that the inspiration is not coming and you just feel numb, that is when you say you are having a creative break.

Causes of Creative Block
Creative block is caused by different factors some of which include:- Stress: When an individual has been through a very tough week and feels tired, this can make an artist find it difficult to focus.
- Self Doubt: An artist can have a creative block when facing a new challenge and it just feels like this is impossible to do. This self-doubt usually comes from the fear of imperfection.
- The problem of Indecision: Sometimes you have so many ideas in mind and you get confused about what to pick. Having so many ideas is not a bad thing but sometimes it gets overwhelmingly, stressful, and can make you lose focus
- Overthinking: When you have so much in your mind to think of and you can't just focus, sometimes just take a step back and relax.
