Nathaniel Ogenowchukwu was arrested by the Edo Police Command for defiling a 2-year-old in Edo state.
This ugly incident occurred in Uhunmwonde Local Government, precisely in Egba community. The incident was confirmed in a statement released by Chidi Nwabuzor, Edo State Police Public Relations Officer.
When asked, Nathaniel said that he didn't know what came over him. He said that the little girl often comes to their house to meet his sister. The day he committed the crime, the little girl had gone over to Nathaniel's house to visit his sister but she wasn't around.
After that, he carried the girl to the bed, defiled her, and started saying he didn't know what came over him after he had already committed the crime.
Chidi, the state's PPRO said the case is currently under investigation and as soon as all evidence points to the suspect, he will be charged to court to face the panel.
