In a recent video, the Calm Down crooner said he often has a sense of guilt whenever his fans can't get to him due to security because he was once a fan like them. Rema said he knows how it feels when a bouncer restricts you from taking pictures with your favourite celebrity because it once happened to him.

Rema recalled a personal experience with Nigerian singer Patrick Okorie also known as Patoranking. Rema revealed that he was not his best self that night. Patoranking just ended his show and he was coming down from the stage, approaching where he was. He was lucky to take a picture with him that night.

Rema said Patoranking lightened up his mood that night and made him extremely happy. The picture he took with him turned out to be his most liked photo on Facebook that year. He said it is paramount for artists to show love to others. Rema added that he makes sure to share money to the streets when he's out to compensate them for the lack of access.
