I was scammed at age 13, Seyi Vibez recounts days of little beginnings
Afrobeats singer Seyi Vibez revealed how he was scammed at age 13 by someone who claimed to be one of Wizkid's inner circles. He was gullible and was striving for a way to get recognized in the music industry. With that in mind, he went on Google to search for how to sign up for the Star Boy record label and stumbled upon a page. His naive self dialed the number written on the page and he was instructed to pay N10,000 to obtain the label's form and he did.
Seyi Vibez added that he had to sell his phone to raise the money without knowing that the person was a scam. Those were his days of little beginnings and he wouldn't forget how he got scammed when he was striving to make a living for himself.
Now, the singer is one of the biggest Afrobeats creatives in the industry and has inspired millions of people with his music.
