Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, the biggest Igbo socio-political group, has said that PDP presidential contender Atiku Abubakar will never become Nigeria's president.

Ohanaeze made the remark when criticizing the PDP presidential primaries, which resulted in Atiku being the party's presidential nominee.

The election was labeled as an "erratic and fraudulent process overseen by unpatriotic Northerners against the Southern portion of the country," according to the group.

According to Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Atiku's presidential campaign will be rejected in the South-East.

PDP had been reduced to a northern party. Isiguzoro bemoaned the fact that Igbos were kept out of the PDP presidential primary.

"It's humorous that the PDP has now become a political party for the Northern area, with Dr. Iyocha Ayu as PDP chair, Walid Jubril as BOT chair, and Atiku Abubakar as the PDP Presidential candidate in 2023," he remarked.

The PDP has made good on its vows to marginalize the Igbo in 2023, and we will carefully respond. Senator David Mark, a northerner, oversaw the process of removing Igbo from the PDP. The 2022 PDP convention will result in a halt to the milking of Igbo votes by a party that has murdered the Igbo dream.

"We are waiting for the results of the APC presidential primaries to determine whether or not Igbos will run in the 2023 elections."

Atiku Abubakar would face opposition in the South-East, and no Igbo is expected to promote or represent an Atiku presidency in the region. Since the PDP has become a regional northern political party, no one will risk campaigning for Atiku in the East. In 2023, Atiku would not have Igbo backing, and he would be unable to become President of Nigeria.

"As a punishment for the PDP's ingratitude and dishonesty toward Igbo, Ndigbo will rise up against the PDP and Atiku Abubakar."
