Kelechi Iheanacho has been recognized for his five goals input in the month of March and awarded the Premier League player of the month. The Nigerian will be the fourth Super Eagles player to win the award.
Iheanacho, who also register an assist for Nigeria while on international duty in the match against Lesotho is in hot form.
The four Nigerian players that have achieved this feat her Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo, with Iheanacho been the fourth. He has been in England since 2015, first playing for Manchester City before his transfer to Leicester City.
