Popular comedian Bright Okpocha, simply known as Basketmouth states that he is responsible for Nigeria's economic hardship.

An old skit of Basketmouth advising Nigerians to vote wisely in 2023 found its way to X yesterday. After netizens had a feast on it, an X user known as Chima said Basketmouth is part of Nigeria's problem because he chose to host a show on the presidential election date instead of voting.

Reacting to this, Basketmouth agreed that he is truly responsible for Nigeria's predicament. He stated that he is responsible for the high exchange rate, the collapsing power grid, and the reason why refineries don't work. He also added that he is the snake that swallowed $100,000.
