Indian woman finally gets rescued after her Nigerian 'friend' held her captive for days

A woman from India who has been identified as Barnali Baruah Saikia, has finally been rescued from the clutches of her abductors in Nigeria. This Indian woman had been held captive by her Nigerian 'friend' for some days before she was able to seek help and was rescued. The Nigerian 'friend' of this woman was however not working alone as he had an accomplice with him.
The woman was rescued in Lagos and has been taken back to her country, India. Barnali Saikia is an indian boxer and fitness coach. She comes from Guwahati, Assam, India. She had traveled to see her friend in Nigeria and was held captive by him for 14 days. This Nigerian friend has been identified as King. Barnali came to Nigeria on the 28th of October 2023 for vacation when this incident occurred.
King
Barnali and King met through Barnali's husband who is Nayan Saikia. He was the one who introduced her and their family members to King on social media. Barnali and King then became close friends and began chatting on social media. They soon graduated to having video calls with each other and soon enough, they became some close to the extent that she decided to come to Nigeria to meet him. She traveled to Nigeria on a tourist visa.
As soon as they met in Nigeria, this man, King, snatched away her visa, passport and all the money she came with. He had come to welcome her to Nigeria at the airport in Lagos when he collected all her items and held her active for 14 days (2 weeks). King's accomplice in the crime has been identified as Daniel. After King and Daniel collected all her belongings, she had no way of contacting anyone including her family members.
Days after, she was eventually able to get hold of a phone and was able to contact her family members. This was the 4th day of her captivity. She called her family on WhatsApp and sought help. She revealed that she was kept in a room and they weren't giving her enough food to eat.
The exact details of how she was rescued haven't been disclosed however, she is now free and United with her family in India. The details of the whereabouts of King and Daniel were also not disclosed. More details to come later.
