Popular Nigerian actress Ini Edo has been given a Global honorary award recently for her contributions to the creative industry in Nigeria. She was recognised for her works and contributions in nollywood and was presented with this award.

Her full name is Iniobong Edo Ekim. She is a 41 year old Nigerian actress. She began her acting career in 2000 and was famous in old nollywood movies. The actress is however still very active in the industry till date. She has featured in over a 100 movies since she began her career. She has featured in movies like Chief daddy, bad comment, the man for the job and others
Ini Edo was born on the 23rd of April 1982 in Akwa Ibom. She was married to Philip Ehiagwina who is an American businessman between 2008 and 2014 when they split. She has 1 child, a daughter who was born via surrogate in 2022.
