JAMB reschedules the candidates who missed exams to this Saturday


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the candidates who missed their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) exams.

They rescheduled the date to this coming Saturday which is May 6, 2023.

The spokesperson for JAMB, Fabian Benjamin announced this on Monday morning. They said those who couldn't write the exams due to hitches that took place last week will be rescheduled for this Saturday.

The Candidates who are under these categories include those who couldn't be biometrically verified and those who had problems with mismatched data


The JAMB exams started Tuesday April 25 and were to end on the 2nd of May.

They mentioned that on the first day of the exam, a good number of these candidates couldn't write the exam due to some hitches.

There was an emergency management meeting that held on Sunday, 31st of April and it was then they fixed this Saturday, May 6 for the examination.

They have also revealed that they will release the results of those who have taken the exams tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2,2023.

Those who have been rescheduled won't see their results yet, only the notification telling them about their next exam.
