JAMB reveals that 60,000 students experienced hitches in their UTME exams


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have revealed that 60,000 students experienced hitches in their UTME exams. This 60,000 is out of the 947,000 students who sat for the exams this year.

He says those who wrote their exams within the last few days starting on Tuesday till Thursday had experienced hitches.

It was the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol of the Board, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who mentioned this information.

He said this after monitoring the UTME exams on Thursday.

He said those who wrote their exams in the 2 days prior to Thursday when he mentioned this had experienced some issues

He said these 60,000 candidates are being rescheduled to write this exam.

He gave the assurance that everyone who registered for the exams would have the opportunity to take the exam.

He said they have resolved the technical issues that had occurred.

He urged the candidates who fell into this category to keep checking their profiles as they rescheduled them.

They also mentioned that the date of the release of the exam results will be announced soon.
