Jigawa Governor appoints committee to monitor petroleum distribution

The governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi has appointed a Committee to monitor the distribution of petroleum in Jigawa State.

He approved of this committee which consists of 12 men to oversee petroleum distribution.

Umar Namadi is the newly inaugurated governor of the state. He served as the deputy governor before becoming the governor of Jigawa State

It was the Head of Civil Service in Jigawa state, Hussaini Ali Kila who made the announcement of these appointments in the capital, Dutse.

He announced the appointment of Col Muhammad Alhassan (rtd) as the Chairman of this task force committee.

Mr Kila also revealed that the committee is also charged with the responsibility of ensuring efficient supply and distribution of petroleum products across Jigawa.

The members of this Committee include Muhammad Usman Na- Allah, who is the representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries and Ministry of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture.

The Secretary of the committee happens to be the Director of Special Services in the office of the SSG.

They are set to inaugurate this committee today, Thursday by 2:30pm. This will be by the Governor, Umar Namadi and it will take place at the Council Chamber in the Government House.
