Jurrien Timber, Manchester United transfer target, was spotted heading to Wembley to watch the FA Cup final against Man City.

Timber, who is 21 years old played under now Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag at Ajax and there are rumors regarding a move to Old Trafford.

The center-back, who can also play at a right-back, is likely to leave Amsterdam this summer with United a highly possible destination.

After he was spotted at Wembley to watch the final which United lost to City, speculations are now rising as fans took to Twitter to talk about it.

A United fan said: “He’s coming to United” while another United fan wrote, “He wants to watch his future team.”

Another one added: “Love it. Hopefully he can have a chat with Erik” then a fourth concluded: “He’s been dreaming of being a red for a whole year now.”


The image has also created speculation that the defender’s attendance could also mean a move to City is in the pipeline, with one user tweeting: “Winner gets Timber” while another added: “Wants to join City so badly.”

Saturday’s final – which United lost 2-1 – was the first time the two teams met in the world’s oldest cup competition with both sides already winning silverware this season.

United boss Erik Ten Hag can say this was a successful debut season for him in England with a second trophy after winning the League Cup in February, the Red Devils’ first trophy in nearly six years.

He also led United to a return to Champions League for next season after finishing third in the Premier League this season.
