Juventus are reportedly set to offer a potential escape route to Manchester United's out-of-favor duo.

A report from Italian media suggested that Juventus could make a double deal with Old Trafford for Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek.

The pair were signed during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's era as manager of Manchester United for different reasons but they have fallen out of favor under the current head coach Erik ten Hag.

Football insiders indicated that the Premier League club were willing to offload both players in January, in the race to create some more financial stability to bring in replacements.

However, Juventus were suggested as a potential option for the aforementioned players.

This review was confirmed by Corriere Dello Sport, an Italian outlet, which indicated Juventus were aspiring to conclude a double transfer deal with their Red Devils companions for the two players who were tagged as an "unwanted duo".

The Italian powerhouse have been suffering something of a crisis in midfield following the required unavailability of Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli. As such, Van de Beek could offer a short-term solution to this problem in the center of the midfield.

Therefore, Corriere Dello Sport suggests that a six-month loan with an option to buy next summer may be a contract that pleases both parties.

However, In regards to Jadon Sancho, the report suggests Man United are requesting a payment of at least 30 million euros to secure his services permanently. This appears to be one of the first times a minimum figure for Sancho’s sale has been disclosed.

If a deal was struck at this price, it would comprise a loss of over 50 million pounds from the deal agreed to sign Sancho to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund two and half years ago.

Corriere Dello Sport reveals Juventus have had their sights (on Sancho) for some time whose natural talent has never been in doubt. Rather, it is Sancho’s mentality and requisition which have hindered his career at Old Trafford.

Reports of unprofessionalism and a lack of dedication in training have been long-standing weaknesses of the winger, with Ten Hag happening to gain a breaking point with him earlier in the season. Sancho has not played for, nor trained with, the first team since the pair's known controversy in September 2023.

With reports suggesting Man United are aspiring for a busy January transfer window, with as many as four reasonable positions being targeted, the three-time European champions will be keen on outgoing players to generate some much-needed income.

Being able to shift two players, who have been nearly forgotten by the Manchester United supporters such is their lack of significant first-team minutes, could prove important to these plans.

What's next?

It remains to be seen if the Old Trafford outfit will let go of Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek in January in other to sign more creative and productive players.
