Kunle Remi breaks silence on AMVCA and claims he would have won
Popular Nigerian Actor Kunle Remi has reacted to the AMVCA nominations.
He has broken his silence over the fact that he wasn't nominated even after his roles in movies.
Many were quite surprised that he was absent on the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023 nominations list.
The event is to be held in May, 2023 and it awards and recognises talent and outstanding performances in movies.
Even though Remi has played good roles in movies and had even played an epic role as a lead in the movie Anikulapo, he wasn't nominated for any awards
Some of his co-stars in the movie were illuminated including Bimbo Ademoye.
Remi finally reacted to this by mentioning how he has been seeing people's reactions online to how he wasn't included or nominated and he appreciated them.
He then congratulated those who were nominated but added how God saved all of them because if he had been nominated in any category, he is sure he would have won.
He then quickly added it was a joke, but then said let the best man win.
