Lady demands justice after police officer assaulted her for refusing to pay N150k in Ogun State

On the Oriyomi Hamzat Podcast, a young lady cried out and demanded justice after a police officer in Ogun State assaulted her over her refusal to transfer N150,000 to his account. She said that her younger siblings who were twins gained admission into Taiye Solarin University (TASUED) and she assisted them in conveying their luggage to school. The lady said she was aware of the harassment and issue of insecurity on the road, so she withdrew enough cash to disburse to policemen who stopped them on their way.

Meanwhile, a close friend of hers volunteered to drive both her and her siblings to TASUED from Ibadan since it wasn't too far. Her strategy of swaying any policeman who stopped them on the way worked until they got very close to TASUED and met a fresh set of policemen. These people requested the car's documents, and every necessary thing, which they complied with.

After verifying the credibility of the vehicle's document, they ordered them to open the car's boot which they complied. By then, the police officers already wasted 45 minutes of their time, looking for fault in the vehicle just so they could accuse them. Yet, nothing was found.

It was at this point that a certain policeman suddenly appeared on the scene, violently yanked her phone from her grip, and demanded that she transfer N150,000 to him if they wanted to be freed. She stated that she wouldn't transfer the money and the officer proceeded to slap her, hit her with a gun, and threatened to shoot her if she dared call anyone or make a video. Unfortunately for the officer, this young lady already took a picture of him which has been sent to the host of the Oriyomi Hamzat podcast. The host has shared the picture and called upon the Governor of Ogun State and the senior police officers to help fish out the man who assaulted the young lady.
