Lady laments after attending a church that says those who don't pay tithe cannot be considered members of the church
Out of frustration, a Nigerian lady took to social media to narrate her experience at a church she attended. She said the church announced that anyone who doesn't pay tithe isn't considered a member of the church. Such a person isn't eligible to hold any post in the church and wouldn't be allowed to attend important events at the church.
This lady was pissed after the announcement was made because religious places should be a place of safety for all. She believes that no one should be secluded for everyone has the right to worship God either rich or poor. She claimed that most rich people do not care about attending church services but the poor who do cannot afford to pay tithe. Instead, they seek to contribute to the church in other ways like sweeping the church, clearing bushes in the surrounding, and other things to ensure the church looks accommodating.
This lady concluded that the religious leaders are using style to extort their members while they send their kids to private Universities. She also said that armed robbers need to include pastors in their target audience because some have turned their church into a profit-making business.
