Medical staff were forced into action in the fifth-round encounter between Chelsea and Leeds United after a Leeds United fan fell from the top tier of the stands while celebrating a goal.

The Leeds United fan fell after Mateo Joseph scored the first goal in the 8th minute of the first half. The goal came as a result of the Axel Disasi Blunder in the 18 yard box.

Police were also spotted at the scene following the horrible incident. The Leeds United fan who fell from the top tier of the stands was seen receiving treatment before he was carried away while the match was still going on.

According to an eyewitness to the incident, it was revealed that the fan landed on the steward before he was taken away.

Other fans awaited an update on his health after he was carried away. The fans had been sending messages of support upon seeing the horrible incident.

It was the second time a fan fell from the stands in the FA Cup this season. In the fourth round between Maidstone and Ipswich United, a fan fell from the stands.

However, it was later confirmed that the fan didn't suffer any serious injuries.

How Leeds United and Their Manager Farke Reacted to the Incident

After the FA Cup fifth-round match between Leeds United and Chelsea, Leeds United took to their social media to react to the incident, saying, "The incident is being investigated and is in the hands of the emergency services. We will be making no further comment at this time."

Leeds United manager Farke also reacted to the incident, indicating health is more important than football.

In the post-match conference, he said, "Football is unbelievably serious, but health is more important than football results. We send our best wishes and prayers, and our fingers are crossed that it is not too serious."
