Manchester City staged an impressive comeback to defeat Brentford 3-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium on Monday, February 5.

Maupay put Brentford ahead in the first half, capitalizing on a goal kick from Mark Flekken to beat Ederson.

The Sky Blues rallied with two goals from Phil Foden to take the lead before he completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute.

However, the game was overshadowed by a confrontation between City captain Kyle Walker and Maupay near the end of the match.

The two players were embroiled in a furious altercation towards the latter stages of the match, with Walker approaching fourth official Stuart Attwell to complain about the incident.

During the game, Walker was caught venting his frustrations to referee Jarred Gillett and fourth official Stuart Attwell after claiming that Maupay had made comments about his children.

A professional lip reader revealed that the raging Kyle Walker threatened to 'knock out' Neal Maupay after he allegedly whispered taunts about his children.

This outburst occurred in the 81st minute of the game at the Gtech Community Stadium, where Walker was also mocked by the home fans for fathering a second child with Lauryn Goodman.

Expert witness and forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman exclusively shared with Mail Sport what was said during the exchange.

According to his reports, Walker confronted the fourth official, Stuart Attwell, and threatened to knock out Maupay.

Despite Atwell warning him to be quiet, Walker continued to insist on confronting Maupay and even pointed to the tunnel before returning to talk to Gillet.

Freeman claims Walker approached Attwell and shouted '|'m going to knock him [Maupay] out'.

He is then said to have added: 'Wait there', before pointing to the tunnel and walking back over to referee Jarred Gillet.

Walker expressed his frustration to Gillet and Attwell, claiming that Maupay had made comments about his children.

According to Freeman, Walker then said: 'Ref, he spoke about my kids, he spoke about my kids, not once, but twice'.

Maupay is then claimed to have said: 'I didn't, it's OK'.

Gillet then responded: 'Now, now, just calm down, listen to me... think about it, think about it'.

Maupay responded to Attwell by denying the allegations and expressing his dissatisfaction with the situation.

Maupay insisted: 'That's a lie, that's not fair, I promise you'.

Kyle Walker's Bizarre Relationship With Annie

Last month, Manchester City captain Walker split from his wife Annie Kilner after it was revealed he was the father of another woman; Lauryn Goodman's five-month-old daughter.

This came after Walker previously separated from his wife, Kilner in 2020, during which he had fathered a son, three-year-old Kairo, with Lauryn Goodman.

In a rare interview, Walker, who admitted to being unfaithful, appeared emotional as he discussed moving away from their family home in Cheshire and spending time away from his three children with Annie, who is currently pregnant with their fourth child.

In 2020, Lauryn confirmed that Walker was the father of her oldest child, Kairo.

The 32-year-old footballer broke the news to his devastated wife hours before it became public knowledge.

The report has it that he moved out of the family home to rental accommodation in nearby Hale, Cheshire, before eventually reconciling with his best friend and wife, Annie.

As part of their reconciliation, Walker agreed to sever all contact with Lauryn beyond his ongoing financial commitments.

In 2017, Walker, who began his career at Sheffield United, made a £46.6 million move from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester City to join Guardiola's revolution.

Since then, the 32-year-old Walker has made 238 appearances for City and played a significant role in the club's success, helping them to secure four Premier League trophies, four League Cups, and one FA Cup title during his six years with the club.
