Man accuses Davido of doing a fake transfer to the orphanages​


A Nigerian man has accused Davido of doing a fake transfer to the orphanages in Nigeria. This man whose X handle is @honest30bgfan sarcastically said he had just sent 1 billion naira to the orphanages and called people mumu. He said "I just sent 1 billion naira to the homeless. Since all of us mumu"

This was his response to the screenshot Davido shared while announcing that he has sent N300 million to all the orphanages across Nigeria. Many were touched by Davido's gesture and appreciated his kindness towards humanity. However, some felt the singer didn't transfer any money but was only chasing clout to gain public attention.

David Adeleke aka Davido is a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and label owner. He is one of the biggest Afrobeats singers in Nigeria dominating the music industry. The 31-year-old was born on the 21st of November 1992 in Atlanta but was raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Davido rose to fame after his single DAMI DURO was released in 2012 and has gone ahead to make a name for himself in the Afrobeats industry.
