Man sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling 3 year old
A Man has been sentenced to jail for life for defiling his neighbour’s three-year-old daughter.
They sentenced this man who has been identified as Kehinde Gabriel to life imprisonment for defiling a 3 year old girl. This man is 46 years old.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) revealed that this crime was committed in 2017.
This man had lured the little girl into his apartment and defiled her.
It was when the child's mother had found blood in the young girls private body parts that she found out and reported the case.
There was a sitting in Ikeja on Monday by the Lagos Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court.
They found him guilty of this crime and also said that he has no remorse for what he did.
The judge revealed that this offense violated Section 137 of the Criminal Law 2015.
They said his crime was an unjustifiable one and that's why they gave him such a punishment.
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has commended the court for their judgment in the case.
They also said that this man's name will be registered in the sexual offenders register.
The agency has revealed that they are committed to making sure such actions are punished. He says they will continue until they have gotten rid of this issue and allowed peace to reign in the state.
They advised people to speak up and repair such cases of abuse.
