The word Metaphysical is gotten from a Greek word which is 'meta ta physika' which means 'after the things of nature'. We can say Metaphysical simply means not physical or not having a physical presence or material presence.

Metaphysical can be defined as an idea, or a reality which is outside of the reach of human perception which are things that aren't experienced in everyday human life. The study of Metaphysics seeks to explain the universal elements of the reality of humans which we don't get to experience in everyday living.

Some Synonyms of metaphysical include words like abstract. abstruse etc. The Opposite or Antonyms of metaphysical include words like natural, material, physical. material, corporeal etc.
