On June 24th 2023, Ejikeme was announced as the top scorer for this year's UTME. She was widely celebrated by Nigerians and public figures. She also caught the attention of Innoson Motors CEO, Emmanuel Chukwuma who gave her a whopping sum of 3m Naira worth of scholarship.

Until the examination board discovered after a proper check that Ejikeme manipulated her results from a total of 249 to 362.

A day after, she made a video speaking on how traumatized she was that the examination board JAMB accused her of manipulating her result.

The video made her gain immense support from Nigerians who were ready to fight for her and prove her innocence. A millionaire offered to sponsor her university education and even the House of Reps pleaded to JAMB on her behalf to be lenient in their dealings.

On 7th July 2022, the committee released a statement stating that investigations made it known that Ejikeme made several requests to the JAMB portal at different times asking for her result.

She then sent another request to JAMB with a new registration number which provided a score of 362 totally different from the first one.

Ejikeme finally admitted to inflating her results using only her phone. She also hid the truth from her school, her parents, and the public. When asked the reason behind her actions, she had nothing to say.

The Anambra State government recommended that Miss Ejikeme should undergo psychological counseling and therapy. She is also expected to tender an apology to the examination board, the State government and other concerned parties with immediate effect.
