There has recently been a layoff spree at Google. This week, the dismissal started with the workers in the Google Assistant Product Hardware and the Engineering unit.
This time, Google says it is firing a number of workers from its advertising sales team and this is still a part of the global restructuring. According to reports, the latest job cuts will predominantly impact the Large Customer Sales (LCS) unit responsible for selling ads to large businesses. The Google Customer Solutions team (GCS), focused on smaller clients, is slated to become the central ad sales team.
