Nigerian pastor Fortune Makarios said Nollywood actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu passed away because he failed to serve God.
Mr Ibu passed away on Saturday, 2nd March 2024 after a long battle with diabetes and blood clotting on his leg. According to the Actors Guild President, Emeka Rollas, Mr Ibu suffered cardiac arrest before he was confirmed dead at the hospital yesterday.
Pastor Fortune shared a post on Facebook comparing Mr Ibu to the revered man of God, RCCG Pastor Adeboye who clocked 82 on Saturday, March 2nd. Fortune said people like Pastor Adeboye who serve God in their lifetime cannot die untimely. He advised people to dedicate their lives to God so they won't end up like Mr Ibu.
