Mr. Ibu's family opens a GoFundMe to fund his burial

The family of the late Mr. Ibu has opened a GoFundMe account, soliciting funds to bury the actor. This news came as a shock to Nigerians because the family held his burial ceremony months ago to honor his last memory. So opening a GoFundMe to solicit funds after thousands of people already donated money for him stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Many are questioning the true motive behind the GoFundMe and are beginning to assume that Mr. Ibu's family are the ones looking to milk sympathetic Nigerians to fuel their pockets.

John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu passed away a few months ago after a complicated surgery. He had his leg amputated but was declared fine by the Doctors only for him to pass on after an undisclosed complication.
