After recording the song, she felt something missing and decided to reach out to Tiwa Savage. Simi revealed that Tiwa Savage took time to record a verse for her and even waited for the music video despite her busy schedule. Though Tiwa Savage's sound is distinct from hers, Simi said they found a way to bring their fans together with their song.
