NDLEA intercepts 68,300 tramadol pills in Anambra state
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have laid hold of 68,300 tramadol in Anambra State.
Mr Femi Babafemi who is the spokesman of the agency revealed this on Sunday in Abuja. He said that they seized these drugs from a man named Nasiru Usman.
This happened when the operatives of the NDLEA stopped the vehicle that was transporting these drugs.
They were able to seize this large amount of drugs from the vehicle.
It wasn't only Tramadol they seized, they also found some other drugs too.
He also mentioned that prior to this, the operatives had seized some drugs on the 11th of May from a dealer named Jimoh Lekan.
They had raided the hideout of this man. They got 134kg of Indian hemp from this raid.
There have been many other raids recently and many drugs have been seized by the NDLEA.
