According to the data released by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Nigeria is now the top producer of crude oil in Africa.
In the early months of the year, Nigeria's daily output of crude oil production was 1.1 million barrels per day. But this has risen to 1.3 million with an additional 200,000 barrels of oil.
