Nigerian musician Wizkid losses his mother
Popular Nigerian Afrobeats musician Wizkid has lost his mother. His mother Jane Dolapo Balogun passed away recently in London. She reportedly died very early yesterday morning.
Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is a well-known award winning Nigerian star.
It was his manager Sunday Are who confirmed the news of his mother's passing this morning. He revealed that the late Mrs Jane has passed away. She died around 1.30 am on Friday morning.
His late mother have been a great support to Wizkid's music career. She would also be present at some of his concerts and this showed how much love and support she had for her son.
Wizkid was born into a Polygamous home with his father having 3 wives as he had said in an interview many years ago.
The cause of death is yet to be revealed but many fans have taken to social media to sympathise with the music star who is bereaved.
