Since the NNPCL announced the new fuel pump price of N617 on Tuesday, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their concern over the economic hardship of the country.

In this regard, Nollywood actor Baba Wande posted a video on his Instagram page urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to fix the current situation in the country.

He started by saying that for years, Yoruba politicians have dealt with a common problem of wanting to be elected into power. From Obafemi Awolowo to MKO Abiola. Finally, the mantle of power has rested on a Yoruba in the person of Tinubu.

Therefore, Tinubu should take note of this opportunity and use it well to the betterment of Nigerians because the position is long overdue.

He commented on the current hike in price of PMS saying that as a result, Nigerians are suffering and they are unable to go about their daily activities due to this recent development.

He also mentioned that an average Nigerian can barely eat due to the current inflation. He urged President Tinubu to ease the production of food and the provision of basic needs of the masses.
