Nollywood actor Lekan Olatunji appreciates Nigerians for their concern and donations
Nollywood actor Lekan Olatunji has expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the prayers and money that Nigerians sent to him after Gistlover urged his colleagues to look after him. A few hours before he shared his appreciation message, the handler of Gistlover called the attention of Nigerians toward actor Lekan narrating how the actor has been looking emancipated since he lost his wife to the cold hands of death. The blog urged those who are close to the actor to check up on him and implored Nigerians to donate money to him.
Actor Lekan considered it an unexpected blessing and immensely appreciated everyone who had him in mind. He said, "My name still remains Lekan Oladapo Olatunji. Gistlover, thank you so much, I really appreciate your help. May you not cry over your wife and children. May you not lose them to an untimely death. Whatever you lay your hands upon shall prosper. I pray God grants all of your requests. I am very grateful. I never knew that I would be remembered and helped. And to the followers of Gistlover, thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate your kind gestures. To every Nigerian, thank you for making me smile. Ant to the association I belong, TAMPAN, I appreciate you people as well."
Actor Lekan reportedly survived a ghastly accident a year ago and solely depended on his wife for survival. Unfortunately, his wife passed away in September 2023 and the actor hasn't fully recovered from the accident. The cause of her death wasn't made public but it was apparent that his sole supporter was gone and he was left to continue the journey called life all by himself.
