Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, has credited former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's victory in the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential primary elections to "Northern solidarity."

Prior to his triumph over Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, Atiku was sponsored by various northern stakeholders, according to Newsmen. According to a post on his verified Facebook page.

Atiku won the presidential election after Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State stepped down to make way for the former Vice President.

Wike had backed Governor Tambuwal's presidential campaign against Atiku in the 2019 presidential election. According to Reno, the South needs to learn how to play such politics from the North.

"The South can learn a lot from the genuine brotherly love and solidarity demonstrated by Northerners," he added. Consider this: Atiku is now supporting Atiku against Wike in 2022.

Solidarity from the north! It's something the South lacks. "Northern solidarity is thicker and stronger than pecuniary solidarity, as Tambuwal has demonstrated."
