The possible lingering question on the mind of Paul Pogba could be “What next?” after he was slammed with a four-year ban from football for a doping offense.

Pogba became the most talked about footballer in 2016, after his then-world record transfer move from Juventus to Manchester United.

International brands were circling around the Frenchman as he became one of the faces of arguably the biggest league in football.

Unfortunately, he couldn't just top gear at Manchester United, following his quaking display in Turin with Juventus.

The midfielder opted after six years in the Northern part of England to return to Italy in 2022, but things didn't go on an upward trajectory for him.

Paul Pogba failed a drug test in August 2023 and waited for about five months for a verdict before he was hammered with a four-year ban on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Pogba is now at a juncture where he is expected to make a critical decision on his career, given the length of the ban and the possibility that he may not play top football again.

The 30-year-old was amongst those on the bench for Juventus' opening game of the 2023/24 season, but he was an unused substitute in their 3-0 win over Udinese.

After that Serie A clash, he returned to a test that has put him in a disastrous state, which has led to him receiving a four-year ban.

The substance found in the footballer's system was DHEA, which can naturally enhance testosterone levels.

Paul Pogba asked for his B-sample to be tested, but it also came back positive in October 2023.

This left him bemused, with Juventus also considering terminating his deal with the club.

Paul Pogba was adamant from the beginning that he didn't know how the substance had gotten into his system and that he had not intended to put himself in an advantageous position.

There was also a previous case with the Serie A that suggested that the Frenchman may not be handed a stern punishment.

In a bid to keep himself match-fit, Pogba went through some fitness activities despite being banned from the Juventus training ground.

Based on a report from Italian media outlet, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba and his wife Zulay have been living in the mansion of former Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo, where he has continued training and getting ready for action.

Pogba has rarely been seen in the apartment, but Ronaldo - who departed Juventus to join Manchester United back in 2021 - shared plenty of pictures while he was living there.

The property is located in Corso Alberto Picco, and it is made up of two adjacent villas.

The apartment also has plenty of fitness equipment that the midfielder has made use of with his staff.

The house includes a gym, indoor swimming pool, and a massive garden where he's been able to keep up with his fitness level and conduct football drills.

Meanwhile, amid all these, reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Paul Pogba had been forced to take a massive pay cut as he was waiting for a judgment to be made on the matter.

The Italian media outlet claims that Pogba has been earning about £1,700 a month during the previous five months.

This is a staggering reduction from the (€8 million) he was expected to receive during his time with Juventus.

Paul Pogba could also, potentially, be set to lose out on some mouthwatering sponsorship deals, given the fact that he will now be spending a large chunk of his time off the pitch.

The most notable of his deals is a ten-year sponsorship with sportswear and equipment giants Adidas, which he signed in February 2016 for a reported €40million.

Pogba also partnered with Wahed Investing but the numbers associated with the sponsorship are unknown.

Even though the 2018 World Cup winner may have been focused on a return to football, he has also relished a lifestyle away from the pitch.

This has seen him attend several fashion shows, with the Frenchman pictured at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show back in June 2023, where he was spotted with some football stars.

The footballer has never shied away from his passion and love for fashion and regularly shows off his jaw-dropping outfits on his pages across social media.

Definitely, a wild guess into what Paul Pogba could be doing if his ban isn't reduced or canceled could be him being involved with the fashion world.
