Peter obi praises Eko Hotel staff who returned $70,000 to owner in Lagos

Peter Obi has taken to social media to praise the lady who works at Eko Hotels and returned a sum of $70,000 to its owner in Lagos State. This lady has been identified as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary.

Peter Gregory Obi is a politician who was the former governor of Anambra State. He is a member of the Labour Party (LP) he also contested in the 2023 president elections which were held in February.
Peter Obi took to his Twitter yesterday to share a picture of this lady alongside praises.
Recall recently, a lady who works as a staff in Eko Hotel in Lagos found a sum of $70,000 which a customer had misplaced. This lady then reported to the General Manager who contacted the owner in Lagos and the money was returned.
Peter Obi then shared how reassuring and heartwarming it is to see that everyone though things are tough in the country, this lady did what was right.
He wondered when Nigeria would begun to celebrate people like her for her integrity and honesty which she displayed by returning this money.
He shared that it is people like her who deserve to be given national awards, honours and recognition. He says he desires a new Nigeria that will celebrate people like this lady.
