Police arraign 3 suspected cultists in Lagos.
Officers of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested 3 men who are suspected to be cultists.
These men are suspected to be members of a cult group known as the Aiye Confraternity.
They were arraigned on Friday by the command. These men who have been identified as Tunde Akinyele, Gbolahan Ojelabi and Charles Onwuka were arraigned in a Magistrate court in Yaba the court was presided over by Magistrate O.Y. Adefope.
The charges read against them were breach of peace, public fighting and damaging of property.
The court was told that these men had been involved in a fight with a rival court group on the 14th of May in Lagos.
During this fight, they had damaged some properties including the windshield and glass of some cars.
These men pleaded not guilty to all the charges that were read against them. The magistrate then granted them a bail of N500,000 each.
They have been remanded until they pay their bail and the case was adjourned till the 16th of June, 2023.
