Police arrest man who stabbed his friend to death in Ogun state

The officers of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a man who stabbed his friend to death in a ogun state recently. This man has been identified as Friday Nku and he is 43 years old.
He reportedly stabbed his 38 year old friend who has been identified as John Musa. He stabbed him to death using a knife. This incident occurred on Wednesday, August 30th 2023 in Omolara Street in the Sagamu Area in Ogun State.

The incident had occured during an argument between both parties. A witness had revaled that they aren't sure what exactly led to their argument but they knew that the issue started after an argument ensued.
The suspect had stabbed his friend in the chet with a knife. He had been arrested and taken into custody by the Police.

The witness said “He was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead. One of the residents went to the police station to report the matter and he was arrested.”

The Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer who is Omolola Odutola, had also confirmed this incident. She revealed that the police has retrieved the weapon which was used for the murder. She She mentioned that an investigation will commence into this case to determine the motive behind the killing.

She said, “The suspect has been arrested and detained. The corpse has been taken to a morgue for an autopsy. The weapon used has been retrieved as an exhibit. The matter will be transferred to the SCID. The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Police Command, Abiodun Alamutu, while extending his condolences to the family of the deceased, assured them that a thorough investigation would be done on the case.”
