Police Arrests woman who stabbed her husband to death in Bauchi
Officers of the Police Command in Bauchi State have arrested a woman who stabbed her husband dead in the state.
This woman has been identified as Maimunatu Sulaiman and she is a 21 year old woman.
She is a housewife who resides in Kofar Dumi area in Bauchi State.
The police arrested her for killing her husband.
It was the Police command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Aminu Gimba Ahmed who revoked this in a press release. He revealed this information yesterday, Friday.
He revealed that there had been an argument between the husband and wife and this led to the woman stabbing him to death.
They conducted a preliminary investigation and they discovered that this woman stabbed him in their home. The victim, her husband, has been identified as Aliyu Mohammad. They had an argument and 5his had happened on the 5th of July.
They interrogated this woman and she confessed to her crimes.
The Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Musa Mohammad has ordered that they transfer this case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigations.
They also want to determine the circumstance around his death.
The doctors who analyzed the body revealed that the victim died due to the injury which was inflicted on his chest.
The woman was also inspected and discovered to have some minor bruises on her stomach.
