President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the recent killings of soldiers in Delta State, and grants the military full authority to bring perpetrators to justice.
On 17th March 2024, a group of 16 soldiers, a Commanding Officer, two Majors, one Captain, and 12 soldiers were killed by some youths in Okuama, Ughelli South LGA in Delta State. The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, has ordered the immediate arrest of the youths involved in this evil act.
Pres. Tinubu condoled with the Armed Forces over the death of the soldiers, granting full permission to the military to hunt down the killers and bring them to justice. Pres. Tinubu commended the army for their bravery and heroic deeds in the eye of danger, assuring that the killers would not go unpunished.
