The Super Eagles ended the just-concluded AFCON tournament as first runner-up after losing to Cote d'Ivoire. Following their return on Tuesday, President Tinubu hosted the entire team and officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the Aso Villa yesterday.
As a reward for their hard work, President Tinubu gifted the Super Eagles players flats, plots of land in the Federal Capital Territory as well as a national award (Member of the Order of the Niger, MON).
President Tinubu commended the Super Eagles for their combined efforts, resilience, and hard work in getting to the finals and representing the country on the international stage.
