The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has revealed that he looks forward to working with President Tinubu.
He mentioned his desire to work with Tinubu who was recently inaugurated as the president of Nigeria.
Recall President Biden had sent a delegation consisting of 9 men to attend the inauguration of President Tinubu on Monday.
He revealed the will to work with Tinbu in a statement on Monday. The statement was from Biden to Tinubu and he had rejoiced and congratulated the newly sworn into President.
He had sent his warm wishes on behalf of the citizens of the US.
President Biden mentioned that they are ready to work with Tinubu so as to strengthen ties between the United States and Nigeria.
He said they want to continue the work with Tinubu so as to support economic growth, promote respect for human right and also advance security.
President Buden expressed hope about the powerful connected which the two countries will form.
He also added that the US will continue to work closely with the most populous country in Africa.
He said since Nigeria is Africa’s largest democracy and economy, it means the success of Nigeria is the world’s success.
He said the leaders who have been elected have a duty to show the people that democracy can cater to their needs.
He added that the US will work with Nigeria as a friend and partner so they can bring forth a more peaceful future to the world
