A group of protesters were out on the streets which lead to the Presidential Collation Centre at the International Conference Centre, in Abuja on Tuesday.

This protest was to demand the electronic transmission of results from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

As at the time of this protest, the results hadn't been announced.

The presidential election took place on the 25tb of February, a Saturday and since then the collation of results started.

As soon as the collation began, the roads leading to the Collation Centre were blocked by security agents and the traffic was diverted away from there.

The people involved in this protest claimed they were from different parties. They used this protest to show how displeased they were with the outcome of things.

"INEC had assured them that it would be a transparent process: they said.

There was also a group of women who marched during this protest and this group was over a hundred.

They complained that some of the results were manipulated and the election was rigged.

They threatened to go unclad if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did respond to why the results had not been transmitted electronically to the INEC-result viewing portal.
