Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in a Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) debate during his recent interview.

The French International who is attracting the interest of Bayern Munich has picked his choice of the GOAT player and, shockingly, it's neither Lionel Messi nor Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi continue to dominate the football world even in their late 30s, having shared the stage for over 15 years for the GOAT title.

Some fans even thought Messi effectively settled the argument by winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with Argentina by completing his trophy cabinet, however, that has not stopped their fans from continuing to make the debate.

Cristiano Ronaldo fans have been pushing the case for his goalscoring exploits in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr despite being 38 years old, added to everything else he has achieved.

However, Eduardo Camavinga became the latest player to have his perspective on the debate between the two but surprisingly chose neither.

A recent interview surfaced where the Frenchman was filmed selecting between two players in a few rounds before he finally picked his best.

In the last round, he was left to choose between Ronaldo and his former teammate Karim Benzema, and Camavinga chose his French compatriot as his "GOAT".

Eduardo Camavinga and Karim Benzema enjoyed great success together at Real Madrid, despite playing together for just two seasons.

In the first season, they won the La Liga, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. Last year, Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Supercup success followed before Benzema left Real Madrid to join Saudi Arabia outfit, Al Ittihad in June 2023.

After Cristiano Ronaldo departed Real Madrid in 2018, Karim Benzema stepped up to take responsibility and guided the club back to glory.

From being a vital member of the Spanish side for nine years to becoming the face of the club for the next five years, Benzema positively established himself in Los Blancos history.

His best run came in the 2021-22 season when the Frenchman struck 44 goals to lead Real Madrid to a La Liga and Champions League double.

It eventually helped him win the Ballon d'Or later that year too, joining Ronaldo among the Galacticos who won the prize while playing at the Spanish outfit.

Benzema had made 648 appearances and scored 354 goals, while lifting 24 titles, including five in the Champions League and four in La Liga before his departure in 2023.

What's next?

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will once again be seen in action against each other in a contest titled "Last Dance" when Al Nassr will lock horns with Inter Miami on Thursday, February 1st.
