The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been encouraged to put Yahaya Bello, a presidential candidate, on suicide watch.
According to Reno Omokri, a socio-political commentator, Bello may be suffering from acute depression.
"The APC should put Yahaya Bello on suicide watch," the former adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan wrote in a tweet. This may come across as a joke, but I am dead serious.
Right now, the man is suffering from extreme depression. He squandered every penny he had. Meanwhile, Kogi employees and retirees await his arrival!
There were rumors that the Kogi State Governor had been asked to withdraw from the presidential contest prior to the start of the APC presidential primary poll.
Many assumed this was the reason he stormed out of an APC governors' meeting a few days earlier.
The APC presidential candidate, on the other hand, reiterated that he would not drop out of the contest. He however emphasized that only President Muhammadu Buhari has the authority to order him to resign.
